System’s competitiveness and allows Henry Ford Health to continue to attract,

enrollment begins Monday, Nov. 7 – Monday, Nov. 21. Henry
Ford Health employees should review their 2022 benefits even if they
don’t plan to make changes. Here’s why: · If you want to participate in the Health Savings Account
(HSA) and/or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) in 2023, you
must re-enroll. · If you cover your spouse on a Henry Ford Health
medical plan, you
must complete an online Spouse Verification Form every year or you will be
assessed a surcharge. A spouse surcharge of $46.15 pre-tax per pay period will
be assessed if you cover a spouse on your Henry Ford Health medical plan who
also has the option to receive medical coverage through a non-Henry Ford

medical insurance, giving you affordable access to valuable protection and
financial support. · Hospital
indemnity can offset the cost of a hospital stay. When a covered member is hospitalized due
to an accident or illness, you’ll receive a tax-free lump-sum cash benefit
that you can use to cover medical bills and everyday expenses (e.g. mortgage
payments, groceries, utilities). · Critical
illness insurance pays you a tax-free lump-sum cash benefit if you
are diagnosed with a covered illness or condition. You can use the cash to cover medical bills
and everyday expenses. With
this coverage, you’ll also be eligible to receive an annual wellness benefit
of $50 when you complete a preventive health screening test, such as a
mammogram, colonoscopy, pap smear, stress test or certain blood work. Your covered spouse and children will also
be eligible to receive a wellness benefit. · Accident
insurance pays you money, tax-free, for medical treatment
received as the result of a covered accident.
If you become injured, you’ll receive tax-free payments that provide
an added layer of financial protection for costs that may not be covered by
your primary medical insurance. · Group
legal benefits give you affordable access to attorneys who can
help with a variety of legal life events during these uncertain times – from
will and estate planning to debt issues and more. · Identity
theft protection offers tools to monitor and identify threats while
protecting your credit and privacy.
This is especially helpful with so many people working remotely, as
there has been a significant increase in cyber-attacks and financial
fraud. It can also provide monitoring
and protection for your children’s social medical accounts. You can also elect auto/home insurance, pet
insurance and purchasing power any time during the year. There is a cost associated with voluntary
benefits. Webinars
